Introduction
Hello All!
Welcome to my blog!
This is Bhavana from Seattle,USA.
After being inspired by the lovely renditions of my friends Deblina,Leena,Srividya,Vidyu,Paras,Azam,Soumitra,Vishal and many others on Taranaa as well as here on Blogspot,I decided to start a music blog of my recordings.
Thanks to Azam for his tips and suggestions about setting up a blog.
This blog is an attempt to learn more about music from the talented people out here and to make new friends.
Please do leave your criticism/suggestions/feedback because they would be invaluable in helping me improve.
Thanks

Hawa Hawaii

Movie:Mr India
Music:Laxmikant Pyarelal
Original Singer:Kavita KrishnaMurthy
Sung By :Bhavana
Personally,I feel this was Sridevi's best dance number.
Her expressions and comic timing are par excellence.
Kavita Krishnamurthy's voice suited her perfectly and beautifully brought out the innate mischievous nature that is so typical of Sridevi in her movies.
Here is my attempt at this cute n peppy number.
Hope you enjoy listening to it as much asI have enjoyed singing it.
Thanks!

Beeti Na Bitayi Raina

Movie:Parichay
Music:R.D Burman
Original Singer:Lata Mangeshkar and Bhupinder
Sung By:Bhavana
This is one of the most beautiful compositions by RD Burman. This song from movie "Parichay" won Lata Mangeshkar and Bhupinder National Awards.Jaya Bhaduri starts singing, falters, and her father Sanjeev Kumar steps in.
I have sung this as a solo. Please listen to my attempt of this lovely but very difficult number and feel free to point out the issues.
Thanks
